General Information

This property was built on the colonial times of New Spain, Mr. Luis de Velasco, who made donation of this land to Pedro Muñoz Maese de Roa; To establish a farm of major cattle, then turning this activity into the main ones in the city.

Let's not forget that besides the cattle business, the trade and the mining activities of that time made a big influence.

The Hotel Hacienda Marques counts with magnificent accommodations, among ancient trees and beautiful gardens; where resting, work or social events are an all success.

The hotel is located in a community called Cuevas that belongs to the Guanajuato capital City is between the cities of Silao, Gto, Iarapuato Gto, and Guanajuato, Gto. Also from San Miguel de Allende, Gto.
The city of Guanajuato is 20 minutes away approximatly in car; to the city of Silao is about 20 minutes approximately, to the city of Irapuato is about 40 minutes away approximately, to the San Miguel Allende is about 2 hours away in car, we are also at 35 minutes away from Leon city and approximately 20 minutes away from the International Airport of Gto.
From Guanajuato you take the highway to Silao-Leon, passing the Santa Teresa community and 50 meters after there is a junction to Irapuato, take this highway and 3 kilometers there is another junction to ¨Cuevas¨ the hotel is within 3 Km away.

¨Los Arcos¨ Restaurant is a perfect frame to enjoy from a view full of calmness and harmony where you will be able to enjoy from exquisite dishes that offer a special touch, in this small and magic space for us, you will always be our main guest.

In the restaurant basement, a game room with pool tables is found, and table games, here is where you can get the bar service. Its capacity is for approximately 15 up to 20 people.
Open from: 8:30 to 4:30.

International cuisine, the menu is small and the typical dishes of the zone are handled by request, if you have the main materials for the preparation.
It offers television service with Sky and background music.

Rooms Information

Guestroom Information
All the rooms have 2 double beds and the prices are based per person, 4 people maximum can be admited, 8 people can stay in sharing beds.
We have 24 Standard guestrooms and 4 cabins.
The guestroom building is a two floor building in the lower floor 12 guestrooms are found, and upstairs the other 12 guestrooms are found and the cabins are right next to eachother and are found in the lower floor.
Every room has a view to the garden, but they are in the garden area and the cabins have a small terrace on the garden side also.
Daily service is offered depending on the check-list.
There is only one bathroom per room, including in the cabins.
All the bathroom have showers.
The television includes Sky service with 8 programed channels.
The guestrooms are carpeted and the 4 cabins have stave.
The ironing and drying service is upon request on reception.

Standard

Standard room offers two double beds, cable television, pleasant design and offers a view of the gardens.

Suite

The suite offers a double bed, carpeted room, cable television, pleasant design and a view of the gardens.

Hotel Policies
For guarantee of the reservation is necessary a credit card.
For individual cancellations no charge apply if done 72 hours before arrival, if cancelled afterwards there will be charge of No Show.

For groups cancellations a no charge is applied if is done within 30 days before arrival, if cancelled 15 days prior the arrival there will be a charge of a 50% and a cancellation 2 days prior to arrival there will be a charge of No Show.
Small pets are accepted in low seasons, as long as they are educated and it depends on the availability of the hotel; even though is in low season, the client must advise the hotel about their pet from the moment they make the reservation.

Children from 10 years old and under are free of charge in rooms, but it does not include the American breakfast, if they are older than 10 years old there will be a charge and it would include the American breakfast
Check in is at 15:00 hours and check out at 13:00 hours.

Activity’s Information

This hacienda is surrounded by enormous trees and pleasing landscapes, riding horses will be unforgettable and also feeling the adrenaline of riding ATV´s and bicicles, don´t forget it we are waiting for you.

Recreation's Information

Within the hotel, you can ride bicycles, horses and ATV’s, the last two can take you to a dam where you can eat white fish. The hotel also counts with soccer field, volleyball court and an area for children to play.
