Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are the major cities in the municipality of Los Cabos. These cities have become two of the most popular tourist destinations in Mexico. Los Cabos is a splendid, world-class port. The tourist boom for Los Cabos began in the 90's. Today, it has over 100 hotels from economy to luxury level. The 33 km Tourist Corridor separates San José del Cabo from Cabo San Lucas.
