Hotel Mansion Trahumara began its construction in May of 1986 as a dream of land owners, who reflected their entire wish to be able to offer the Barrancas del Cobre visitors an incredible place different from the rest already established, offering a service with all the amenities that the client deserves, plus we’re proud to offer a totally family environment.

Within the 12 acre property approximately, the Restaurant Bar was built first on a Medieval Castle style and later on there were built 15 individual cabins, totally equipped with 2 double beds, chimney, dressing table, closet, heater and a bathroom with all the services. In 1992, thanks to the support and our clients choice, it was possible to up grade the facilities with 45 cabins where  there are two Jr. Suites which have the same amenities but with a king size bed instead, these ones also offer a living room and one Master Suites offers a Jacuzzi, minibar and a king size bed. Tarahumara Mansion also possesses a room of multiple uses with a capacity to lodge up to 120 people, ideal for conventions, conferences and other events, as well as a game room that also works as a discothèque.

Nowadays, more than 15 years after that dream began, a mini market, craft shop, laundry, purifying water equipment, kid’s playground, kid’s pool, and dressers were incorporated as well. And besides all that, with the support from the state government, since 1997 there is a pavement highway, sufficient electrical power and telephone service.
