This corridor is named the Hacienda Corridor because there are so many haciendas full of history and culture.Almost all of the 176 old haciendas in all of Hidalgo built during the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries can be found here.

Emiliano Zapata
The most emblematic hacienda in the area is the San Lorenzo Hacienda.During it’s heyday it was a major producer of pulque.
Zempoala
During the last century, Zempoala was surrounded by numerous haciendas that processed maguey to produce pulque.
Tlanalapa
The Franciscan friars came to this town during the 17th century and initiated construction on a large scale.The most prominent of these is the San Francisco de Asís Church.
Epazoyucan
Among the places of interest in Epazoyucan, you’ll find the old Tepozotlán Hacienda and the San Andrés Church and old convent.
