Angel de la Esperanza

In front of the boardwalk arches, you find a bronze piece of work made by the sculptor by the name of Hector Montes Garcia that was inaugurated in August 6th of 2007 by the Mayor Javier Bravo Carbajal. Mounted in the same spot where a stoned angel sculpture used to stand, which collided during the Kenna hurricane in 2002. This piece of work has a plate that states: “Angel of Hope and Peace Messenger. Always looking forward well-being and equality for all. Wisdom, Love and most of all World Peace.

Mismaloya Beach

It is one of the celebrities beach by choice, which popularity was boosted by the director John Huston who, in 1963, used this beach as a setting to shoot the film named “The Iguana Night” with Ava Gardner and Richard Burton.

El Malecon (boardwalk)

El Faro:
