Hotel Description
Hotel Spa Las Cavas is a hotel thought for both family and convention purposes in a modern colonial design; with cable TV and wireless internet access, a genuine Mexican hospitality, managed and operated by its owners.
The hotel was founded 26 years a go, in the former wine region of the central part of the country, fact that inspired the hotel’s name. In the underground wine-cellar, there can be enjoyed local wines and from Casa Madero as well.
Established among a tourist population which offers an outstanding life quality as much for locals as for visitors as well. The hotel presents it self with the slogans: “We are the most secluded hotel in Tequesquiapan worth finding it”. Also: “We are the best kept secret in Tequisquiapan, run the voice with your best friends only”.
Located about one quarter of mile away from the county headquarters in the avenue Media Luna No. 8; featuring a water spring of its own that comes from the hot springs of Tequisquiapan, though, in order to avoiding the pumping process, water is re flowed through a solar collector system which maintains a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius reducing the fuel consumption in the boilers as well as reducing the environmental pollution.
The same thing happens with the Temazcal, which volcanic stone where the water container and weed are placed for aromatherapy, is heated by means of an electrical resistance, avoiding use of fuel wood or gas usually utilized in the typical spas; avoiding aroma contamination. By avoiding the fact of using insecticide or fertilizer, the natural biological balance cause to have fewer bugs and in exchange it manages to enjoy from the great variety of flowers, birds and butterflies during all year.
The gardens color is designed to possess flowers of different colors all along the four seasons, from the red during the winter (poinsettia flower), to the blue flowers during spring (jacaranda flower), the green and yellow during summertime and autumn.
On Sundays, besides the barbeque cooked in our oven, we offer quesadillas and tortillas traditionally made, on the guests’ site.
