Mazatlan features almost 25 km of coastline where all the traditional beaches are located on, this certainly stands as a main attraction. The Golden Zone beaches along with the Gaviotas, Los Pinos, Cerritos and Olas Altas beaches are ideal to enjoy from the sports of fishing and surfing. Sports are always healthy activities that attract tourists of all ages: grownups can take advantage of the golf sport in some of the two courses: El Cid and Estrella de Mar; and for those young ones, there are professional baseball training camps with plenty of entertainment. The Teodoro Mariscal Stadium is an iconic place for sports events; in the other hand the Angela Peralta Theater is a representative place for artistic shows. Of course, there are also shopping malls, cultural architecture in the Historic Center, and a diverse nightlife activity.
