About us
This hotel was opened in the year of 1994 under the name of PLAZA LAS GLORIAS, with the firm idea of becoming one of the best hotels in the Mexico northwest. Our facilities were redesigned to provide top-notch service to both national and international visitors with the distinctive warm sonoran atmosphere.
Operating since the year of 2003 under the name of MARINATERRA, this new name makes a clear allusion to its privileged location on the eastern coast of the Sea of Cortes, meaning: sea and land coming together.
Due to this, we've been recognized with the following awards:

To guarantee a reservation a credit card is required.

No Shows
No shows are a one night charge and if the credit card does not pass, the reservation will not be guaranteed.
Extra Person Policy
Prices are for 2 adults and 2 children, extras have a 20 USD plus taxes charge.
Family Plan
2 children are free of charge sharing the room with their parents. Children are considered under 12 years old.
Pet Policy

Oversold Policy
In case the Hotel is oversold and cannot offer you the contracted service, to the client with a reservation from UNIVISIT, the Hotel by its own count will find adequate alternatives to supply the service contracted, that will meet or give better service than the original benefits contracted.
The hotel will pay a one night stay plus taxes at a similar Hotel.
The guest will be transported by the hotel to the new hotel.
The guest will have the right to do a 3 minutes call home to notify the change to another hotel.
