Hotel Description
Founded in July 28th 1961, by Pedro Trueba Abascal and his 8 brothers. Located in the historic center of the city of Orizaba represented by one of the buildings considered in those days by the modernist architecture of the decade of the 60s, and it still being one of the most highest of the city and with the best panoramic view of the valley that surrounds Orizaba, Veracruz, its restaurant is known in the region by its good seasoning, one of its specialties that’s International recognized is the enfrijoladas Trueba style.
Counts with five floors; in the main floor is the lobby, reception, the business center, restaurant, coffee shop, bar, access to the parking, the elevator, the stairs that have access to the rooms and blue salon.
In Ote 6 street it is found in front of the main access, the parking area for drop offs, pick ups for agency busses (groups).
In the floors 1 to 5 the 58 rooms are distributed, 25 rooms with two individual beds, 13 rooms with two double beds, 6 rooms with one king size bed, 8 rooms with one double bed, 1 Junior suite in each floor. The blue salon is located in the first floor with a capacity fro 30 persons in a horseshoe style, there you can find an open air terrace.
The blue salon has an easy access to the elevator and the hallway that leads to the stairs and access to the lobby.
In the roof you can watch (the sundown or the sunrise) a magnificent panoramic view of the city valley, the mountains that surrounds and the majestic Orizaba peak, known as the star hill (Cilaltepetl).
Hotel Location
Located in the historic center a half a block away from the bus station, first class (A.D.O.), in the main avenue that crosses the city that colindates with the city of Rio Blanco, Nogales and just minutes away from the city of Mendoza, this same avenue takes you to Veracruz – Puebla – Mexico highway.
By the street 11 south also you can get a faster way to the highway Veracruz – Puebla – Mexico.
At 9 blocks of the hotel is located the state museum of art.
at 6 blocks its found the San Juan de Dios church, house of the nun Alferez.
At 5 blocks away is the Mier y Pesado foundation (a replic of the Winsor castle of England).
At 4 km is found the springs of Matzinga, where you can enjoy the beauties of the crystal waters, a trout faro (the guest can fish their trout and flavor it at their pleasure).
At 20 km the GRUTAS of Galicia which are located in the direction to the town of Tuxpango.
At 10 km is the Pass of the Heart “Paseo del Corazón” or Metlac bridge, where you can enjoy the conifers forest and walk the 460 steps that take you to the Metlac barranca that takes you to the town of Sumidero.
At 10 minutes the elephant cascade is found, there you can enjoy a stroll by the traditional 500 steps, to admire the cascade there is a viewpoint that dominates the environment, there our guests can practice Tyrolese.
In a straight line the Orizaba peak is found, At 26.8 km in this national park you can practice mountain climbing even if you are an amateur or a professional.
The city of the flowers Fortín is located at 20 km away.
The city of Cordoba Veracruz is located At 26 km.

At 3 hours away Xalapa the capital of the state.
The city and the capital of the state are at a 3 hour (by the short way) crossing by the high mountain zone.
